4 month old eating LESS?

Anyone else's iv month old eating less?? It started yesterday morn with united states and information technology was a struggle to get her to cease her 4 oz bottle. Which she commonly finishes without issue. So tried to feed her again ii.5-3 hours later and she just ate a couple oz. This happened all twenty-four hours where she simply wasn't interested in eating. Before bed she did it again. But I managed to become her to eat 2.5 oz. She and then woke up at 230am and ate 2 oz and passed out. nosotros had to wake her for the day at 645 and she was not wanting to eat at all. She only ate an oz. She was acting fine otherwise, happy and playing. I simply am at a loss. My friends say this is normal simply I wondered if anyone else was experiencing this too? I am thinking near calling her Dr. today because I'g merely and then worried. Anyone??

I recently noticed this with my DD also! She'south refusing the breast and I can't understand why. I effort to feed her but she just fights me then will somewhen take a footling and that'south information technology. I don't know what else to practise.

Yes. I am at a loss also. I have had a lot of people tell me it's normal. Just I merely don't know how she goes from eating 4 oz every 2.five-three hours to barely eating 2 oz. I'm at a loss and am so worried.

Maybe they're eating little meals too often?

Maybe try spacing out the meals more. My daughter happily waits four and sometimes five hours between meals and I find if we feed her too early she doesn't desire it. And takes a little bit and then could take a little fleck more than a few hours subsequently.

The longer the wait the more than she eats. ( although lately she'southward been too distracted to eat very well but that's just because she has too much fun and would rather play the eat and and then sleep) getting sidetracked there.

I've institute that my LO is distracted lately. He's 4 months two weeks and I have to catch him when he's very sleepy to become a total feeding in. He would rather look around the room or coo at my husband than consume ha. It's supposed to pass just existence in a room with few distractions helps, we likewise are doing more night feedings and I've just been offering more oft to run into if that helps.

Mine has started eating less too. She'southward 4.5 months and she was eating about 30 oz a day and is at present barely eating 25. Yeah I can't milkshake the worries with this. I contacted the Doc today but haven't heard back quite yet. I retrieve they're merely going to tell me what everyone else has said which is equally long as she has wet diapers it's fine. But I don't similar that reply :(

Jdachel, I know this post is a twelvemonth old. But how did it work out for your little 1? My son has been doing this since 2.v months. I take been dream nursing him to get equally much milk in him as possible. Only it'southward been so stressful!! I likewise think my supply has tanked since he's eating erratically. my infant used to do it as well she used to reject to eat it was very hard I had hard days with her and like shooting fish in a barrel days with her consume hope your baby starts eating better
